Sorry.

The Afghan nation respectfully apologizes to its noble nation that the hopes and beliefs of the people have not been fully fulfilled over the past few decades. The Afghan nation has made great sacrifices in the holy jihad to defend Islam and the homeland, in accordance with its Islamic and religious mission, but due to the martyrdom of the original Afghan people and severe restrictions in the course of this struggle, the struggle did not proceed properly at some stages. Some individuals and groups misused this opportunity and took deviant advantage of the name of the Afghan nation. We apologize to our mujahid, patriotic and loyal compatriots and are committed to learning from the past and working for the honor and development of the country based on honesty and national commitment.

Explanation

The Afghan Nation Party, which was established as a founding political movement of the country's national idea, has faced stages in its historical process in which deviations from the original principles and national path have occurred. Due to jihad, wars, migration, foreign interference, and the monopolization of limited individuals and groups, the name and organization of the party were used in some cases for actions that were not in line with the original national idea and values of the Afghan nation. The Afghan Nation emphasizes that these deviations do not represent the fundamental thought of the party, but were the result of specific circumstances and misuse. The current principled Afghan nation, based on the vision of the founders, is reorganizing its struggle to re-establish national unity, sovereignty, justice, and responsible governance.
